The Nachchaduwa Solar Project; commissioned for operation in 2020, is a Solar Energy Farm with the capacity of 1 MW. Set on a land extent of 4.5 Acres (18,216 square metres), it is located in Nachchaduwa, Anuradhapura; within close proximity to the Nachchduwa Reservoir and forest reservation lands.

A Fixed Tilt implementation, the farm features a specification of Polycrystalline Solar Modules (SUNTECH) and Multi-MPPT String Inverters (SUNGROW). It also houses a state-of-the-art sprinkler system for cleaning the solar panels, thus ensuring uncompromised power generation efficiency. Cutting edge centralized monitoring and command centres closely track output and make required adjustments with minimal human intervention. When operating at peak efficiency, the project will make a saving of 626 metric tonnes of CO₂ emissions per annum.
